Submission Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility:

  • The submission process is open to individuals of all ages.
  • Participants under 18 must have parent/guardian consent and may be asked to provide confirmation.
  • Submissions must consist of original artwork created solely by the participant.

2. Submission Rules:

  • Submissions must adhere to the guidelines stated in the Submission Rules section.
  • Artwork that violates third-party rights, including copyrights, trademarks, or similar, will be disqualified.
  • AI-generated images, photomanipulations, or uncredited copied work will not be accepted.
  • MOD will prioritize efforts to secure partnerships with IP holders for submitted fan art designs.

3. Review of Submitted Designs:

  • MOD reserves the right to review and feature submissions at its sole discretion.
  • Selected designs will be evaluated based on originality, creativity, and artistic quality.

4. Use of Submitted Artwork:

By submitting artwork, participants grant MOD the non-exclusive right to use, display, reproduce, and modify their designs for:

  • Showcasing Talent: Promoting fan creativity to brands and IP holders.
  • Marketing: Promotional activities related to fan art contests and associated campaigns.
  • Merchandise Creation: Turning selected designs into officially licensed merchandise.

All usage will include appropriate credit of the artist and will require approval verification from the artist before any commercialization moves forward.

5. Compensation (for Selected Merchandise Designs):

  • Artists whose work is chosen for official merchandise will receive a royalty on net sales revenue of items featuring their design.
  • The royalty rate is dependent on the IP holder's decision. MOD will negotiate on the Artists behalf to ensure they receive a fair royalty amount.
  • MOD will notify selected artists regarding the payment schedule and method of payment.

6. Agreement:

By submitting artwork, participants confirm they understand and accept these terms:

  • MOD reserves the right to disqualify and not showcase submissions that violate rules or guidelines.
  • Participation in the submission process does not guarantee selection or compensation.
